DUCK HIDING IN WEEDS

Photographed at Kathryn Albertsons park in Boise, Idaho in the morning hours.

A nice bokeh / background blur was achieved by using a 100-400MM telephoto lens.

Subtle hints of light show upon the weeds and the ducks head area.

MY FRIEND WITHIN THE TREES

This was an unbelievable shot and a once in a lifetime setting. I walked slowly through the trees at Kathryn Albertsons park in Boise, Idaho. As I stopped to adjust my camera settings I noticed this deer standing still.

A photo tip; you'd better have your gear ready and your camera settings perfect, because shots like this don't happen very often.

DUCK ON LIT TRAIL

This little duck was wadling through the woods coming from the lower pond. The light hit the ducks head just right giving me the perfect photo opportunity.

Using a telephoto lens can come in handy on many occasions. One in particular is the distance away from your subject, so their not scared away so easily.

OSPREY IN FLIGHT

This beautiful in-flight Osprey was on the hunt for a fish in the nearby river. He was diving in and out when I sized the perfect opportunity to capture this in-flight photo.
Beautiful blue skies against the Osprey's brown wings.

ONE EMERALD NIGHT

This Canadian goose was floating in the nearby pond at Kathryn Albertson's park in Boise, Idaho.
The colors of the water were so green, I had to name it "Emerald Night".

In the shade and water like glass, this was the perfect opportunity to capture this goose all tucked in.

WATCHING OUT FOR HUMANS

This was a must have photo at the park in Boise, Idaho.
A Canadian goose and a duck peering into the pond.

The light was perfect as were the soft colors.
This was photographed on a Spring day in 2016.
Dynamic lighting was at-play here with subtle hints of light throughout the grass and wildlife areas.
